To translate efficiently, we use Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) software. CAT software allows for our team of translators and editors to be consistent in translating terminology, and also for more than one translator to work on the document at the same time. For maximum ease and effectiveness, we ask all clients to send documents in formats such as Microsoft Word (.doc), HTML (.html), Plain Text (.txt), Rich Text (.rtf), OpenDocument Text (.odt), or another editable format.
Documents can be translated to comply with standard procedures outlined in EN 15038:2006 published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), or our normal service.
Our normal service still guarantees excellent quality. If, however, the client prefers the documents be processed under the CEN standards, we are happy to perform this check.
